As one of DMI's Directors of Development this position is responsible for working with the CTO to be a development leader in DMI/IntegraLink/PartsVoice/Third-Party Access suite of ADP business units. This individual is responsible for being a key development leader in the design, development, definition, delivery, quality, hosting, and reliability of the industry-leading internal and external solutions that comprise these businesses. They will be expected to contribute to the strategy of the organization, balance time-to-market/flexibility/customization needs, forecast the necessary human, capital, and operational expenses for the technology organization, be responsive to competitive and market trends, and take responsibility for the security integrity and compliance of the overall platform.

The individual should have process and management expertise with:

Leading mid-sized geographically distributed technical teams
Defining and executing on responsive and rapid development methodologies - such as Agile.
Acting as a technology evangelist and persuasive voice in RFP responses and customer sales cycles
Formal estimation techniques and risk mitigation
Mentorship and technical oversight
Proven ability to develop direct reports and provide inspiring leadership

Experience, Skills, Academic:
The ideal candidate would not only possess these management skills as well as a deep familiarity with the North America automotive retail data ecosystem, but would also possess expertise in the following technical areas:

High-volume, high reliability transaction processing· ETL - both batch and real-time
SOAP and REST web services as well as asynchronous integration technologies like JMS
Enterprise-class Java application development, application servers, persistence frameworks, and service buses
Thick-client .NET applications
Oracle RAC - including PL/SQL
Distributed application architecture and virtualization
Web application technologies and frameworks
