Job description

Primary Responsibilities:
Trading
Equity and fixed income trading, including those of complex clients and sophisticated structured product opportunities
Management of trade related client escalation activities, working effectively with business partners to drive them to resolution
Monitoring of FFOS client accounts for corporate actions and margin items
Identification of potential risk and operational opportunities across the FFOS platform
Investment Guidance
Aggressively driving revenue through guidance, leadership and broad investment conversations with clients across diverse asset categories
Working with largest and most complex clients to capitalize on opportunities and grow client portfolios, through a wide spectrum of investment vehicles
Development of product and market knowledge, through the study of current market trends and financial products, and development of a point of view based on this knowledge
Guidance for clients on investment strategy and engagement in solution planning; activities may include:
Production of portfolio analytics, including equity and fixed income analysis
Identification of product opportunities for client portfolio mix
Preparation of financial planning materials for clients
Providing cash management expertise
Competitive analysis and pricing comparisons
Business Development
Overall responsibility for supporting our FFOS business development and implementation efforts through client interactions
Proactive client development, both internal and external, and engagement of Relationship Managers, in order to educate clients on our capabilities and what we can do to fulfill their needs
Recognition of opportunities and development of solutions to commercialize products and effectively apply them to client portfolios
Coordination of cross-company initiatives and complex trading and sales situations with Fidelity Capital Markets
Development of strong working relationships with Fidelity service and product providers, including FMR, Capital Markets, Pyramis, Geode and Personal Investing

Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree required. MBA a plus
10+ years in investment services or capital markets, with exposure to senior level executives in client facing or phone based role
High net worth or full service business experience preferred
At least 3 years trading experience across varied asset categories, with understanding of trading systems and Bloomberg
Series 7 and 63 licenses required
CIMA or CFP preferred
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to set tone of guidance, leadership and market knowledge, inspiring confidence in senior level clients and colleagues, in order to achieve aggressive revenue goals
Proven ability to study current market trends and financial products, articulate a point of view, and have broad investment conversations with clients across diverse asset categories
Demonstration of strategic influence, in developing a holistic approach to the integration of investment strategy and recommendations that consider market conditions
Demonstration of ability to apply creative investment solutions, that go outside traditional products and support client needs
Strong knowledge of equity and fixed income markets, as well as general knowledge of brokerage products and services
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, either face to face or over the phone
Strong thought leadership, contributing to meetings and providing direction to the conversation
Ability to handle simultaneous projects, often with tight deadlines
Team player with strong work ethic and ability to achieve aggressive revenue goals
