Director - Data Operations - Verisk Health - Richmond

Job description
Successfully manage all production and client test data processing tasks with near-100% success rate
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and CMS mandates pertinent to compliant data submission to CMS on behalf of Verisk clients
Define business requirements for improvement of existing interfaces and creation of new data interfaces
Improve Outbound and Internal data processing operational processes over time

Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years of professional IT experience
5+ years of experience loading and analyzing large, complex data sets
3+ years of healthcare industry experience
Ability to think both tactically and strategically
Ability to organize and direct resources to meet short and long term goals
Ability to maintain comprehensive knowledge of interface and process details
Ability to define data interface-related business requirements
Ability to allocate and manage operational tasks across team resources in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to incrementally improve operational processes over time
Ability to manage processes and stakeholder relationships throughout multiple offices (both US and abroad)
Ability to maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and CMS mandates pertinent to compliant data submission to CMS on behalf of Verisk clients
Highly structured approach to technical troubleshooting and problem solving
Excellent collaboration skills with peers, senior management, and internal team members
Excellent prioritization skills
Excellent judgment regarding status reporting and issue escalation
Excellent data collection, analysis and interpretation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior hands-on experience with complex SQL querying and X12 EDI healthcare transactions required
Prior experience with Medicare Advantage risk adjustment, HEDIS quality reporting, and medical record retrieval preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
