Director - Cash Management - Beneficial Bank - Philadelphia


Job description

Plan, direct, and oversee all aspects of the Cash Management and Government Banking organization
Manage development and implementation of new products and improved services to enhance existing product line and assist in generating new deposits and fee income.
Identify opportunities and needs within the organization and effectively communicate with Senior Management to obtain their support
Joint calling with Branch and Regional Managers, Lenders, and Senior Management to understand potential opportunities and effectively position proposal for services to win new business for the Bank
Create additional new business opportunities for the Bank through calling efforts focused on personal client relationships and referral network
Develop department operating and performance budgets
Lead Cash Management and Government Banking team to exceed department goals and objectives
Participate in the recruitment and hiring of all new Cash Management and Government Banking team members
Work with managers to understand and improve operational processes for maximum efficiency while maintaining accuracy and high customer service standards
Assist Sales Officers with analysis, pricing, and positioning of high profile or complex deals
Manage and approve Bank responses to all Municipal and Non-Profit Requests for Proposal prior to final submission
Engage in continuing education and outside classes and seminars to understand business trends or changes within the marketplace to best position the organization for future success
Participate in various business, civic, and community functions to develop new business and promote favorable image of Beneficial Bank

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work related experience
Minimum 10 years experience selling/marketing financial and cash management products and services or related work experience
Extensive management experience and demonstrated ability to motivate a team to exceed sales goals and service standards
Advanced financial analysis experience
CTP/CCM preferred
Documented commercial sales or marketing experience with a financial institution
Demonstrated ability to establish an extensive business network, as well as new business referral sources
Excellent leadership, coaching, and management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, sales and public relations skills
Ability to establish priorities and be self motivated and organized
Advanced financial/analytical abilities
Overall knowledge of Bank operations, practices, policies, and procedures
