As a strategic technologist, you will help to shape the future direction of our electron beam inspection (EBI) technology. The strategic technologist will help the division outline roadmaps and recommend solutions to some of divisions most difficult inspection challenges. The candidate should have significant background in the wider gamut of inspection technologies.
Desired Skills and Experience
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop the core technologies of Electron Optics and the application of system innovation and integration
Lead the design and execution of solutions for product yield enhancements to meet next generation customers’ requirements
Drive KT's sub 10nm defect inspection tool market presence as a leading technology provider of the electron beam wafer inspection tools
Drive product research and development efforts for innovative differentiated product offerings
Provides reliable high quality e-beam equipment &technology and support for our IC manufacturing customers
Enable effective coordination between engineering module developer, system integrator and end user.

Preferred Qualifications:
More than 15 years of experience within the semiconductor industry.
Deep technical expertise in electron beam defect inspection is required.
Previous experience enabling fast introduction of innovative eBeam technology.
Experience in developing roadmaps and architecture for state of the art eBeam inspection tools.
Experience in driving system design improvements with current semiconductor inspection equipment.
Technical background in contamination control, damage control, optics and system optimization.
Experience in high data rate acquisition and electronics systems.
Experience with Advanced algorithms, that enable efficient capture of small defects within periodic and non-periodic structures.
Customer experience is preferred. Specifically, experience relating to and understanding customer issues and articulating those technical issues that result in the development of new inspection solutions that address the issues.
Experience leading in an environment where influencing and collaborating is essential to gaining results.
Experience navigating in a larger, complex organization.
Experience leading technology changes and culture changes in a large organization. This includes removing organizational barriers to enable greater efficiencies and effective collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate (Academic) with at least 8 years of experience.
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 12 years of experience.
OR
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 15 years of experience.
