Program Director - CODA - Portland


Job description
CODA: Building health and recovery through compassionate, evidence-based care.

We are currently looking for a Program Director to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for treatment programs and agency-wide initiatives while ensuring the success and sustainability of agency programs and services.

In this position, you would fulfill the following essential functions:
Provide Agency Leadership: As a member of the Executive Team, contribute to the overall success of the agency through participation in and support of cross-functional activities, communications, processes, policies, protocols, and best practices.
Provide Program Management: Develop, direct, monitor, and evaluate residential and/or outpatient program operations, ensuring program outcomes are achieved, regulatory and agency standards are met, and budgets are accurately developed and maintained.
Provide Team Management: Offer support and guidance to Program Supervisor(s) as they provide day-to-day and clinical supervision for program staff, ensuring the team is competent and fully engaged and that they are delivering quality services, following agency processes and protocols, and are achieving program results.
Provide Program Stewardship and Development: Identify and develop new service opportunities and funding sources through positive and productive partnerships with local providers, community partners, contract stakeholders, and others within the community, soliciting guidance from the Executive Team where necessary to ensure all programs are aligned with overall agency strategies and goals.

Desired Skills and Experience
The following qualifications are critical for success in this position:
Master’s Degree in Social Work or a course of study that similarly aligns with the services offered by the program.
CADC II and QMHP within six months of hire.
A minimum of 6 years experience working directly with patients and at least 4 years of experience supervising both the clinical and administrative work of others in a similar program environment.
Valid Oregon or Washington Driver’s License.
Experience with opioid replacement therapy (methadone, buprenorphine).
Experience managing multidisciplinary team(s).
Demonstrated competency in community outreach and education, and the development of community partnerships.
