Ricoh Electronics, Inc. is rapidly growing, and we want you to join our management team! Both of our chemical product lines, Toner and Thermal Media Label Stocks manufacturing operations at our Lawrenceville facility are expanding. We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Operations Director to direct the quality of multiple products in the manufacturing operations, through planning, developing and implementing processes, programs and systems to control the quality of incoming raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods or products and manufacturing method and to ensure compliance with product safety and environmental regulations. The Quality Control Director will be accountable for quality and reliable performance of all products manufactured by Chemical Products Group.

The Quality Control Director will:

Develop, recommend and implement quality inspection annual plans, budgets and targets to support business objectives.
Develop and recommend, and implement methods, procedures and systems to achieve quality goals by creating plans and requirements, monitoring adherence to plan and ensuring the production of quality products
Direct the quality inspection of materials received and/or products produced. Oversee the development and implementation of new and revised material and production inspection/testing methods.
Recommend the suspension or release of product for shipment to customers.
Direct the development, implementation, and optimization of inspection criteria and processes.
Direct the testing and implementation of new standards and inspection procedures for new product launch.
Direct cross-functional projects to investigate and resolve major or product quality problems. Establish plans and acquire resources needed to identify and validate the root causes of quality issues, implement corrective action/countermeasures, monitor and assess project results and report results to senior management.
Regularly interacts with senior management.
Prepare reports summarizing quality trends and problems through instrumentation and present products quality performance information to operations management.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years experience in quality control in manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years management experience required.
Six Sigma and R&R implementation experience are preferred.
Toner and/or Thermal Media Label Stocks products manufacturing experience preferred.
Must have advanced problem solving skills to resolve complex and/or high impact process and quality problems, often requiring collaboration with other departments, customers or vendors.
Must have good data collection, data analysis skills & SPC expertise.
Must have very good communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills at intermediate level required.
Project Management Skill is preferred.
