Vice President, Product Marketing

Due to our success and expanding opportunties, Rally is seeking an experienced and collaborative individual to join our Marketing team as a VP of Cross-Product Line Marketing. This person will coordinate our sales enablement and go-to-market strategies across five product lines of development to direct, indirect and web channels in a worldwide theater.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate overall product strategy and holistic product-marketing execution with multiple Product-Line Directors.
Collaboratively develop and shepherd pricing and packaging initiatives for software products and service bundles
Coordinate the education of sales, technical account managers (sales engineers) and partners with regards to emerging products, features and benefits.
Coordinate and develop content for marketing collateral including datasheets, whitepapers, blogs, and web content.
Develop and help implement overall industry analyst relationship strategy in conjunction with the PR/AR/IR teams
Package and adapt individual competitive analysis across product lines
Engage with customers to solicit feedback regarding product and market offering changes
Translate business requirements to a holistic solution strategy through work with specific product-line Product Owners (PO’s) and Product Managers (PM’s)
Represent Rally at public speaking events, trade shows and other venues, as appropriate

Requirements:
10+ years in a product-centric B2B software role. Prefer experience in product marketing, product management roles, or sales engineering.
Prior experience in the of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and/or Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) markets
Knowledge of agile and/or lean principles highly desirable
Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
Available for 30%+ travel

Location: We would ideally like this individual to be based in our Boulder, CO corporate HQ; however, we would consider non-local candidates who are willing to travel extensively.
