Vice President - Digital Media Sales - Spanish Broadcasting System - Miami


Job description
I. GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Vice President, Digital Media Sales, will lead the company’s digital sales strategy across all product categories. He/she will work closely with other sales teams and the digital product team to increase revenue by overseeing the direction of Digital Sales Managers in all SBS markets, setting the local and national strategic sales direction and providing input to the product, social media and editorial team. The VP of Digital Media Sales will engage with prospective and existing, local and national, clients and ensure that SBS is delivering a high level of satisfaction and retention and will make recommendations on new digital product ideas for clients. Additionally, the VP of Digital Media Sales will own the entire sales and planning process for all SBS digital, mobile, and social media opportunities. He/She will also take a leadership role in representing digital media opportunities in cross-platforms sales presentations.

II. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee sales and Integrated Marketing for SBS digital solutions
Train account executives
Develop and implement digital media sales best practices across markets
Increase the sales into new customers and agencies as required.
Lead the local digital sales efforts in market
Hit quarterly revenue goals
Work with Product team to develop and introduce new products and services
Work with internal resources and teams to further innovate solutions
Maintain communications and relationships with accounts and agencies
Provide continuous feedback to EVP of Digital Media
Streamline existing processes to generate and distribute reporting
Analysis of sales data and budget reports
Work with the appropriate parties to set up and maintain sales, products, inventory, pricing and performance
Travel to markets accordingly to solidify relationships nationally and make new ones
Ability to articulate each product’s advantages and those of the competition

III. SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lead and manage a group of national sales reps across different markets.
Forward thinking, innovative and proficiency in setting sales strategy and execution
Working in a fast-paced environment
Extensive use of productivity tools (spreadsheets, presentation software)
Excellent writing skills in both English. Spanish writing skills are preferred but not required.
Extensive knowledge of the digital media platforms and sales technologies
Strong interpersonal skills with experience in supervising, coordinating multiple projects with limited resources.
Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and schedules.
Client focused, supporting a number of concurrent initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to top management and clients
Work effectively and calmly under the pressure of deadlines.
Extensive travel required, at time on short notice.
IV. EXPERIENCE AND CANDIDATE PROFILE

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 8+ years of digital media ad sales experience.
Solid relationships and contacts with U.S. Hispanic, national and regional agencies and direct buyers within the digital space

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline required
Graduate degree in Business or Marketing preferred
