Strategic Planning Director - Nike Technology - Nike - Portland

Job description
As the Strategic Planning Director for Nike Technology, you will be a part of the Strategy, Architecture and Portfolio Leadership Team, supporting the global Nike Technology organization based at Nike's World Headquarters.
Reporting to the Vice President for Nike Technology Strategy, Architecture and Portfolio, you'll be responsible for partnering with the Nike Technology Senior Leadership Team in developing long term solutions and services strategies, defining business initiatives and plans, and managing key strategic projects to enable Nike's growth.
You'll be a trusted member of our team with the following responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning process milestones and deliverables, including the corporate strategic review process for Nike Technology
- Manage cross-functional project teams to identify, analyze, and develop plans around critical strategic priorities.
- Provide thought leadership in areas of expertise and experience, and catalyze decisions and actions against these priorities.
- Provide research and analytical support on strategic projects.
- Contribute project management support to internal resources to successfully execute key projects.
- Work independently to design and lead research projects related to technology trends.
- Direct and execute analysis for new technology opportunities.

To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who has had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:
Bachelor's Degree
MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred
Minimum of 7 years of total experience ( 3+ years' experience post MBA) in strategic planning, management consulting, corporate strategy, or corporate development
Strong influence and collaboration skills, with proven ability to pull together diverse individuals with different goals and facilitate productive discussions
Minimum of five years information technology industry knowledge and experience
Demonstrated success in leading a methodical process of analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options: then proposing and acting on a course of action
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Strong business acumen, to apply business opportunities to technology plans and understand how strategic plans can enable revenue and profit growth
Successful track record dealing with executive level professionals to drive business outcomes
Experience in leading complex strategic projects
Ability to pass a 7 year background investigation
