Director - Relationship Management - Prudential - Newark


Job description
This Director, Relationship Management position is critical to the success of GBTS (Global Business & Technology Solutions) and our abilities to provide quality and consistent technology infrastructure services, at the right price, to the assigned Business and Corporate departments within Prudential. The position will work closely with the operations & systems management teams within the Businesses and Corporate departments in the development of their strategic and short term plans, as pertaining to GBTS infrastructure products and services.

The position includes managing a diversified workload to ensure GBTS delivers products and services on time and on budget. The position includes specific responsibilities in the following areas:

New Business – partner with the Vice President of the Corporate Relationship Management team to support the business areas in: Due Diligence Exercises, Request for Information, Feasibility Studies, Infrastructure Service Requests, Infrastructure Project Oversight, Enterprise Deployment
Service Delivery - Develop & Maintain Relationships between GBTS and Business Partners, Act as a communication channel between GBTS and Business Partners, Manage the Service Level commitment process & reporting, Identify and facilitate opportunities to leverage technology solutions, Provide monthly reporting on all GBTS activities in support of business partners, Coordinate Technology Exchange meetings between business partners and GBTS, Share business information and infrastructure information between business partners and GBTS
Problem Management - Champion, Coordinate and negotiate Business, Corporate and GBTS initiated Infrastructure changes, communicate GBTS Change Windows and Scheduled Infrastructure Changes, and assist Business Partners with GBTS Change Window Exception Process and negotiate required changes.

Desired Skills and Experience
· Strong organizational skills. Ability to grow, mobilize and motivate RM staff members as well as virtual project teams.
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. An ability to clearly understand and articulate the Business’ strategies, missions, goals, objectives and initiatives across GBTS. In turn must be able to as effectively communicate CTM services and capabilities across the Businesses and Corporate departments supported.
· Ability to identify long and short term GBTS solutions and opportunities to address business needs.
· Solid negotiations and influence skills
· Solid problem management skills.
· Strong relationship management skills
· Strong project management skills, ability to communicate project status to business and as escalation point to resolve issues.
· Change management skills – represent the business’ and corporate departments’ interests at weekly change management planning sessions. Coordinate change windows, testing etc. with partners.
· Solid knowledge of GBTS products and services - a plus
· Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
