Consulting Partner - IT Infrastructure Services - Cognizant Technology Solutions - New York

Job description
Cognizant seeks to hire CBC-ITIS Consulting Partners to drive mindshare and market share agenda for all ITIS Consulting & Professional Services business for 1) Banking & Financial Services, 2) Insurance and 3) Retail/Consumer Goods vertical accounts within North America.

Responsibilities:
Helping designated vertical team (Banking & Financial Services) reach specified revenue targets;
Drive pre-sales and execution in conjunction with Enterprise Architects, Execution Partners and Consultants;
Preparing Go-to-Market plans and account level planning to achieve revenue targets and to gain customer mindshare;
Identifying and cultivating additional revenue opportunities by fostering and expanding client relationships in partnership with client account partners/leadership;
Providing thought leadership in IT Infrastructure Services space to clients and prospects;
Working closely with principal vendors and CBC-ITIS Practice teams to build industry specific practice capabilities;
Driving internal and external governance along with SBU and CBC-ITIS practice; and
Developing new reference customers among CBC-ITIS portfolio within Vertical SBU.

Desired Skills and Experience
Basic Qualifications:
At least 15 years of professional experience in IT/Infrastructure Services.
Extensive knowledge and experience in Banking & Financial Services (BFS), Insurance or Retail/Consumer Goods industries and the IT infrastructure technology solutions relevant specifically for one of these industries.
Proven experience in technology consulting, pre-sales, solution design and execution.
Track record of achieving profitable revenue growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MBA or Masters)
Executive-level IT experience derived from working directly in BFS, Insurance or Retail/Consumer Goods industries.
Ability to develop high level technology blueprint and IT infrastructure design.
Experience or exposure to working in a globally diversified work environment
Experience running large IT Infrastructure Transformation Programs.
Excellent listening, written & oral communication/presentation skills
Exposure to well-known Project/Program Management methodologies
Strong Analytical skills with ability to see the "big picture" while also driving execution
