Job description
Title: VP Business Development
Location: Fremont, CA
VP Business Development
Will be responsible for managing and growing Business Development organization at Vdopia to make Vdopia
largest Mobile Video Ad Network
Key Responsibilities:
VP Business Development will be responsible for:
• Manage and hire team of BD Managers in various regions like Europe, APAC etc., work with them to
follow same processes across the BD organization
• Formulate strategy to sign up Premium as well as long-tail publishers
• Formulate and execute a strategy to become #1 Mobile Video Ad Network on Comscore and other tracking
providers
• Formulate processes inventory management processes to ensure high fill and utilization for publisher
acquisition and retention
• Formulate commission plans/ bonus plans for BD team
• Maintain and grow relations with our existing publishers
• Keep up to date with mobile technology and work with product teams to provide scalable solutions to
Publishers
• Interact with potential publishers to provide innovative solutions to grow our business.
• Interacting with tech and publishers to check if integrations are done and to ensure publishers are updated
with our latest technologies
• Coming up with new ideas and packages to monetize existing publisher inventory
• Keep track of Publisher inventory, revenue and reporting the same on a weekly basis.
• Lead Business Development by sourcing, negotiating, and closing partnerships with mobile publishers/
content owners and online video content owners with publishers in India and APAC
• Secure inventory for Delivery of campaigns booked by sales teams
• Formulate long term and short term deals to ensure 100% delivery on campaigns
• Craft and negotiate deals with publishers and technology partners
• Be App Store expert on the Business Development team
• Liase with Marketing to ensure strong, consistent messaging to the publisher ecosystem
• Own and deliver accurate mobile business metrics and Vdopia Publisher Metrics to Business Development
Team and Senior Management on a daily and weekly basis
• Continually improve the team’s use of business metrics to optimize Business Development outreach and
impact overall revenue
• Help resolve discrepancy and payment issues
• Maintain overall Vdopia site list, provide specific media plans to sales team and work on special packages
as and when required by sales team
Desired Profile:
Should have 5-8 Years of experience
Must have strong interpersonal and networking skills
Adequate experience of handling and successfully closing business
Mobile experience a plus
Must have Analytical skills
Experience running a Mediation / RTB platform a plus
MBA preferred
An aggressive personality, driven by performance would be a good fit for this role
