Department Description:

The Product Management Organization is responsible for making amazing products and inventing the future! You will have the opportunity to actively participate in all aspects of the product lifecycle from initial conception through launch and end of life.

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:

As a member of the Product Program Management team, you will coach and influence at all levels to drive increased agility, velocity, predictably, innovation and quality. Your role will be instrumental in initiating a transition from a traditional approach to one that incorporates scrum methodology, cutting edge agile methods and tools to enable teams to rapidly deliver functionality that drives customer satisfaction. He/she will be a champion for Agile adoption and responsible for delivering results, coaching and developing self-directed development teams by setting direction, engaging the stakeholder(s), and removing obstacles to help us break new ground as we roll out agile throughout our development lifecycle and foster continuous improvement. Responsibilities include:

Solid understanding of both software and hardware development lifecycles

Be highly entrepreneurial. Provide Agile Leadership coaching, influence and training to ScrumMasters, Product Owners, Program Managers, Technical Teams, Functional Managers and Executives on agile principles, values, and how to build, grow and maintain a thriving agile organization at scale

Deliver hands-on coaching of individual scrum teams in all aspects of scrum - daily meetings, planning, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, scrum processes, team building, and facilitation as needed the transition the current process into an agile development process.

Design and support full agile transformation roll-outs

Facilitate the Scrum process including providing advice and input on technical direction, tools and processes to help demonstrate the value of Agile/Scrum-based development;

Drive improvement in execution, communication and concurrently building group skills and capabilities

Provide agile process training for new hires

Specific Knowledge / Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience/training

7 years of large scale program management / agile coaching experience

Experience in measuring project success factors using metrics (burndown charts, velocity, etc)

Deep knowledge of Agile principles and practices and the ability to transfer that understanding at all levels of the organization

Consulting and facilitation skills in leading technical teams in the adoption and improvement of agile methodologies; ability to lead by example

Excellent presentation and training skills

Certified ScrumMaster, Product Owner or equivalent

Deep knowledge of mobile phones, tablet and/or consumer electronics. Mobile Carrier experience desired

High passion for product excellence and attention to detail

Cross-cultural sensitivity

Excellent change management abilities
