Finance Director - Gas Station TV - Detroit


Job description

GSTV seeks a Finance Director to work closely with the CFO in support of GSTV’s revenue and profit objectives and network growth



Responsibilities:



Perform financial modeling in support of business opportunities, including sensitivity analyses, alternative deal structures and terms, and “what-if” modeling.
Create and maintain timely and effective Executive Reporting tools.
Tools will be based around Key Performance Indicators, including items such as CPM, sell-thru rates, and profitability.
Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as dictated by business needs.
Based on analyses, deliver complete presentations incorporating findings and recommendations.
Be a leader of the Centralized Sales Team:
Assist CEO and Sales Director with strategic and financial planning for the team;
Track team and team-member performance against monthly sales targets; and
Create monthly reporting packages for team leadership and other necessary departments.
Work with Retailer Relations and Business Operations teams to maintain Market Plans.
Negotiate business and contract terms, develop term sheets, and perform due diligence.
Manage key vendor/partner contracts and key contract terms, such as: deliverables, milestones, renewals, and notifications, etc.
Take an active role in the company’s real estate needs, including: pro-forma financial modeling, site review and selection, and lease negotiation.
Prepare monthly forecasts and perform monthly variance analyses (actual vs. budget/forecast).
Perform regular cost/investment reviews.
Understand all facets of the business and interact with all other departments as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

7+ years of experience in business finance or a related role
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business, MBA preferred
Experience in the following areas required:
Financial modeling and forecasting
Business and Strategic planning
Experience in the following areas preferred:
Business development
Negotiation: supplier-side and/or buyer-side
Contract drafting and management
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong presentation skills
Proactive, adaptable, multi-tasker
Media and/or Advertising experience a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Apple/Mac experience a plus)
