Associate Director of Production
Edelman Digital seeks an experienced Associate Director of Production who wants to join a highly successful and fast growing digital business. The position requires a highly self-motivated, independent thinker with a get-it-done spirit that has both a creative and business mindset to ensure they can offer creative solutions that are achievable for our clients.

The Associate Director of Production should have a minimum of 10-12 years of broadcast and digital production, technical and project management experience in advertising and communications. This role will be client facing on several accounts and is responsible for the profitable delivery of both simple and complex production needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversight of all video, interactive, and photography production.
Coordination with creative and account teams to facilitate workflow and delivery.
Be a tireless advocate for the creative process, so that the best ideas come to life given any challenges encountered.
Partner closely with resource manager for creative and technology to identify resource needs.
Provides input for vendor selection process and has a great rolodex of freelancers/ vendors to be used as resource needs dictate.
Manages projects from initial pitch, through discovery, concepting, design, development, QA of final deliverables and must be able to take ownership of larger and more complex projects when appropriate.
Remains current on industry and technological trends.
Direct and manage our team of producers, both in their day-to-day responsibilities and in their ongoing career development.

Desired Skills and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 10-12+ years in production
Experience on video production for both web and broadcast
Experience with Experiential delivery a plus
Assertive and proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills with a creative approach to problem solving
Understanding of digital, video, broadcast and other traditional production formats
Excellent management skills with experience managing staff and projects across multiple locations
Ability to be flexible and highly adaptive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
