Marketing Director - WorkplaceDynamics - Philadelphia


Job description
Marketing strategy
Create and implement overall marketing strategy to position WorkplaceDynamics as an emerging thought leader on creating and sustaining healthy organizations
Manage annual Marketing budget
People management
Support Marketing Analyst (current role) in day-to-day execution of marketing activities
Determine additional resourcing needs, manage hiring process and ongoing performance management
Brand management
Work collaboratively across the organization to maintain a consistent message and voice across all marketing, sales, and corporate communications
Support content creation internally and lead relationships with external creative resources
Manage online and social media presence to be consistent with brand
Content creation
Support creation of case studies and other materials to tell the organization’s story (via writing, video, and other formats)
Marketing analysis
Optimize lead generation campaigns through the promotional support received from our 40+ publishing partners across the country (includes print and digital ads along with email campaigns)
Define, analyze, and interpret key marketing metrics – track and optimize effectiveness and ROI of all marketing campaigns
Project and campaign management
Lead relationships with external vendors that support marketing efforts, from negotiating agreements to project management
Develop marketing strategy for new product launches
Desired Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience leading marketing activities in a B2B environment (ideally in software (should include some non-agency experience)
Significant experience (more than 1 example) designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns, with clear evidence of the ROI
Set-up the relevant test(s), managed the output, implemented a continuous improvement framework, and delivered results
Diversity of experience in digital marketing (SEO, social media, etc.), traditional marketing, lead development, public relations, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills – able to articulate the ‘voice’ of an organization
Strong analytical skills (ideally using Excel), confident manipulating and synthesizing large amounts of data to determine trends and insights
Experience with Google Analytics and related tools a plus
Able/willing to learn new analytical tools
Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce.com) that integrate with proprietary software
Strong and proactive planning skills, collaboration and organizing skills, a stickler for details and a master of multi-tasking
A can-do "make it happen" attitude - comfortable making decisions with little supervision or direction
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
