Job description
Executive Director, Talent Acquisition

Manages the entire candidate life cycle to attract and employ qualified individuals for positions across the organization. Partners with HR and hiring managers to provide a robust talent pipeline.
Assists in maintaining optimum staffing levels throughout the organization; contributes to overall organizational success by developing the overall talent acquisition strategy, sourcing qualified candidates, building a robust talent pipeline, and attracting top quality candidates to join the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Partners with HR and hiring managers to understand and proactively plan for hiring needs within assigned departments/markets.
Participates in developing sourcing strategy plan and implements innovative recruiting methods that focus on both active and passive candidates and reflect diversity within assigned markets and/or departments.
Manages the interview process for all candidates, , makes hiring and salary recommendations, negotiates salaries and extends job offers.
Plans sourcing and recruiting strategy/tactics accordingly to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Provides tracking and reporting to monitor staffing results and return on investment (ROI).
Provides subject matter expertise and consultation on recruiting and selection best practices.
Performs other responsibilities as needed.
Follows company policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others.
Manages full cycle recruitment process.
Develops recruitment strategy plan for the organization.
Engages with senior business leaders to consult on recruiting best practices and recommendations for sourcing strategies.
Takes lead role on recruiting project teams for system and or process improvement efforts.
Identifies and builds pipeline for internal succession planning efforts
Executes recruitment strategy for senior level positions in the organization
Uses a variety of recruitment techniques to build a pool of diverse top talent.
Establishes and maintains a network of top talent through candidate, employee and reference check referrals.
Conducts phone screening interviews with candidates, coordinates on-site and telephone interviews with hiring managers and other relevant personnel, and conducts debriefing sessions with hiring managers after the interview.
Manages and maintains the integrity of candidate assessment process.
Consults with hiring manager regarding outcome of assessment process and provides process recommendations on next steps for candidates.
Leads the salary negotiation process to ensure it is consistent, fair, equitable and within Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines. Extends job offers to candidates at the request of hiring manager.

Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
10-12 years recruitment experience; restaurant or retail industry recruiting experience desired; 2-4 years experience leading a team of recruiters
Experience using Applicant Tracking Software
AIRS, CSP, CPC, PHR or SPHR certification desired
Strong sales skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with a variety of interviewing and sourcing techniques
Strong networking skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong organization and time management skills
