Job Description
Mellanox is looking for a Creative Director that will determine the best ways for us to visually represent our company’s corporate identity. This position involves development of high-level concepts for design projects, working with internal and external contacts, pitching designs, and understanding IT end-user market and needs. You will develop visual designs, and may be asked to manage third-party design firms as well as internal design resources. Must have ability to work with internal senior management to help them articulate their messages to our customers. The successful candidate will lead creative sessions, manage multiple projects from concept through completion, develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategy. This position will establish creative direction and standards for the entire line of company’s products, services and programs, and provide quality control over concepts and projects.
Desired Skills & Experience
Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts or related field or equivalent visual design and management experience required; graduate degree preferred
Thorough understanding of art direction and on and off-line marcom elements productions
At least four years management experience working with large-scale websites, e-marketing, and advertising
Must be a proven problem-solver, an information architect
Must possess a thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes, and user interface design as well as industry best practices
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography and limitations of the web; must understand Flash and have theability to story board or translate ideas to designers and develop innovative motion graphics solutions
A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, corporate identity, interactive commerce and creative process
Print and web design capabilities; must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns
Ability to lead projects from concept to completion. Will apply best practices in user interface and interactive design, including image optimization and site mapping
Experience with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and Flash
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software, with advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills
