Department Overview
The PKI Engineering department provides various products and services to use Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for secure communication, secure emails, secure document transferring and secure online transactions.
Responsibilities
• As a technical visionary, create and implement state of the art ideas; mentor and help upgrade technical proficiency of the team; consistently deliver creative designs; responsible for system-level design specifications and technology plans; serves as the leader in review of designs of other team members.
• Equivalent to a Director in the management track, Technical Directors have demonstrated consistent technical achievement and innovation.
• Technical leader and visionary for the Enterprise Trust Services product line within ISG.
• Duties include strong, hands on architectural leadership and the planning/execution of delivery commitments.
• Deep understanding of product technology area and a broad understanding of the company’s range of technologies.
• Provide technical direction and advice to management in long-range planning for new or projected areas of growth
• Responsible for system-level design specifications and technology plans.
• Advocate and technical ambassador for the technical organization both internally and externally
•Maintain and evolve a 3 year architectural/technology roadmap
•Act as a technical resource for the Development team and others
Desired Skills & Experience
• This is a "gated" position requiring an evaluation of overall skill set and interviews by a panel of executives
• Minimum of 12 years in the software development technology arena with progressive growth in responsibility and accountability
• Minimum of 5 years in an architect or senior technical leadership role
• Recent, hands-on experience in dealing with application and systems security
• Prior experience in PKI a strong plus
• Deep knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices
• Has had hands on experience with C/C++, Java, SQL
• Proven ability to architect and/or build large, high quality SaaS offerings
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and create technology vision
• Ability to influence partners and customers on technology direction
• Excellent written and verbal skills a must
• Must be an energetic and driven individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent change management skills
