Job Description

The Contribution:

frog frequently tackles complex design and development challenges as we work with our clients to conceptualize next generation products. frog’s capabilities as a global innovation firm offers clients a new level of insight for new product experiences, new market entry, strategic planning, and consumer product recommendations. The Director of Program Management, Integrated Delivery must engage and collaboratively lead multidisciplinary teams across large corporations and 3rd party stakeholders that inform key business decisions. The Director of Program Management, Integrated Delivery must understand and articulate how design is incorporated into technology solutions and business decisions. This person must act as a trusted strategic advisor to the client; guide the client in decision-making around the account with the foresight to strategically identify new (cross and/or up-sell) opportunities for frog.

The Director of Program Management, Integrated Delivery provides program leadership, developing senior level relationships that position frog as a design and technology expert, as well as, key strategic advisor.

As a member of the Program Management Team at frog, this person is a broadly experienced, business-savvy individual who has a deep management and delivery experience, and is well-versed in leading large, multidisciplinary project team(s) across the full development lifecycle, while also providing outstanding client support relative to the projects in progress. S/he is focused on a) providing senior level management and resolution of complex issues, b) business development for new programs, and c) current software project delivery, assuring overall quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have large-scale systems integration experience and readily coordinate with the business development and delivery teams to adapt project plans to meet program needs. This position will require travel to client and team locations as needed, possibly involving significant travel. Client Management:
 Be the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and other 3rd party organizations, throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
 Lead dialog with clients and teams about risk management and mitigation.
 Oversee resource, budget and project plan for solution delivery.
 Develop and manage senior level relationships with the client organization and the ability to negotiate contract terms.
 Collaborate with the frog lead teams in Sales, Strategy, Creative, and Engineering to develop roadmap for product and account.
 Ensure the success of new product design and development efforts for the client organization.

Delivery Excellence:
 Thorough understanding and experience with several PDLC/SDLC methodologies (incl. Agile) and ability to educate teams on delivery process as needed, ability to tailor them appropriately to current program dynamics
 Work with discipline leadership to identify resource requirements and level of effort estimates during business development efforts, as well as architectural and development cycle management.
 Work with cross-functional team leads to plan and execute projects.
 Work in a variety of globally distributed development models to complete development and quality assurance work on projects.
 Ensure that each program has appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to effectively deliver products.
 Work with product teams in a leadership capacity during the deployment of software enhancements, fixes, and change orders to ensure they are properly coordinated with the release schedule.
 Monitor the health of software programs on an ongoing basis by Identifying, tracking, and mitigating technical and business-related project risks; Act as escalation point for addressing risks reported by other PMs.
 Oversee creation of project status, budget, profitability, and resource utilization reports.
 Facilitate kickoff meetings, interim program reviews and project retrospective meetings.

Team Leadership:
 Personnel management within the Integrated Delivery Program Management organization. Responsibilities include direct supervision and mentorship of program management staff.
 Guide organization as it defines the appropriate methodologies and toolsets to deliver the client design and development solution across the full Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
 Lead teams during the creation and maintenance of software delivery project plans that include a resource plan, risk mitigation, dependencies, a milestone schedule, and a list of tasks and deliverables.
 Provide oversight to help manage scope and day-to-day operations to ensure that the program schedules and budgets are met.
 Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to build effective teams. Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to reach their optimum performance level including career path and conflict resolution.
Desired Skills & Experience

Required:

 Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field.
 Minimum of 10 years of management/leadership experience in a deadline-driven, software development organization.
 Minimum 5 years’ experience working within development teams and a strong understanding of the full Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) spanning the design, implementation, and release phases.
 Proven ability to work and communicate with multicultural, multidisciplinary and globally distributed teams (including designers, developers, architects, QA engineers, and executives).
 Proven client relationship-management skills and experience, preferably C-level engagement management; experience with consultancy and professional services
 Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality software on tight deadlines across multiple platforms.
 Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience in a global and cross-cultural context.
 Ability to operate directly within software development environments, anticipating team resource requirements, understanding technology issues and trends, and maintain results and client satisfaction, with the client and the team.

Preferred:

 A master’s degree, MBA, and/or project management certification.
 Software development certifications in the areas of Project/Program Management, risk and requirements management.
 Extensive knowledge of practical development methodologies (eg; Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
 Large/enterprise application development management experience.
 Subject matter expertise in a specific field or industry.
 Ability to work remotely, and/or travel to client and team locations as needed.
