Job Description
Responsible for provision of financial oversight to VIMN Kids & Family Brand management teams and local financial organizations. Focused on delivering quality management information and analysis to facilitate optimal decision making.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reporting to VIMN SVP, Financial Planning and Analysis
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core
Support Brand leadership teams through the provision of Monthly / Quarterly / Annual brand P&L analysis & reporting to management team
Establish Kids & Family group financial and KPI benchmarks across VIMN Operating Units (OU’s), departments and geographies
Oversee management reporting and analysis of the K&F Operating Units. Specifically focussing on tools such as;
P&L Trackers - focused on monthly, quarterly performance vs $ and % targets
Operating Unit Watchlist - monitor OU's that warrant additional attention due to their loss making status or adverse Tracker results
Provision of oversight and guidance on regional Brand financials to ensure consistent classification and analysis
Responsible for management of the central programming library and supporting the IPC team
Ensure IPC allocation model is optimal, updated and clearly communicated by team
To create management presentations to support financial submissions, for Brand management conferences and any other ad hoc requests
Strategic
Create, implement and manage a process to inject commercial expectation into programming investment analysis i.e establish a means of forecasting ROI on central programming
Constantly assess and influence local vs central programming level investment levels and manage the local content analysis review sessions
Support rollout of the Program Amortization model to all of VIMN
Work closely with the Domestic Music & Entertainment teams building relationship and sharing best practice
Ensure constant and frequent collaboration with the Strategy teams to identify risk / opportunities and develop mitigation / exploitation plans
Establishment and management of the International Programming Finance Committee for Kids & Family
Desired Skills & Experience
Preferred Skill-sets
CPA qualified (or equivalent)
Strong analytical, communication, presentation and management skills
At least 8 – 10 years relevant work experience
Experience of supervising a small team, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
Experience working with analytics systems
Commercially focused with a client service approach.
Confidence in dealing and building relationships with all levels of management.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
