Job Description

The CDM Group is currently seeking a Vice President, Recruiting to join our HR team!

The CDM Group LLC is one of the world’s largest global healthcare advertising agencies [and growing], with more than 1300 talented individuals located in offices across the United States and Europe.

We are looking for a Vice President, Recruiting to take the lead in finding the best talent for CDM. Your primary role is to be the idea person (that’s the strategic development and creative part), and the driver (that’s the director part to get results), and recruiter for top talent for a company that keeps on growing. Also, you will partner with your Talent Acquisition Team who, along side of you, will handle the hiring of great talent from soup to nuts… and oh, you’ll need to do it in a creative way so you don’t break the bank too while you are at it.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes relationships with senior leaders and client groups to get a full understanding of their business objectives, business challenges and corporate culture.
Manages and mentors recruiting team by providing feedback, career development and client reviews while setting the bar high, delegating without dumping, and implementing new processes to enhance efficiency.
Consistently enhances development of effective sourcing strategies. Develops longer term strategies for identifying potential candidates (e.g., university relationships). Builds rapport with key target candidates for future hire, and creates sourcing plans utilizing a diverse range of sources to build networks and talent pipelines.
Establishes recruiting strategy and plan based on deep understanding of needs, changes, anticipated turnover and anticipated new business
Builds strong partnerships between recruiting and HRG Generalist teams.
Consults and guides senior management on headcount, compensation and utilization issues that affect their businesses.
Assesses senior candidates’ fit with the organization to ensure leaders are representing the core values of the agency.
Manages recruitment budget and financial reporting on recruiting spend with analysis of ROI for different recruiting tools.
Desired Skills & Experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years experience and a successful track record of full life-cycle recruitment.
Experience managing a recruiting team.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Process oriented and organized.
Strong collaborator with the ability to work successfully within a team dynamic and has exceptional, creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and remain calm under pressure.
Impeccable follow through skills and the ability to deliver results.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Computer Proficiency (Word, Excel, Applicant Tracking Systems).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Working knowledge of the Taleo Application Tracking System
Working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter
Experience working within the advertising/marketing services industry.
Knowledge of medical/pharma/life sciences industry.
Executive search experience.
Experience recruiting digital talent.
Experience with SEM & employment branding.
