The Commute Program Technical Project Manager will plan and coordinate all aspects of commute information systems from initiation to delivery. Projects will often involve network, server, or software development, implementation and upgrades. The technical project manager will work with the commute team to develop a information system strategy across all geo’s and programs that will enable the program to accelerate into the next evolutionary phase leading up to the grand opening of Apple Campus 2 and beyond.

Key Qualifications

Strong software, technical, information systems and IT systems fundamentals
6 years related experience
Experience determining methods and procedures across dynamic set of platforms
Manage and prioritize multiple projects with a constant focus on deadlines
Proven research, data collection skills and ability to analyze and report accordingly
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential; attention to detail
Experience collaborating to guide program vision and direction toward our goals.
Description

Coordinate with internal stake holders including IS&T, HR technology, and others to ensure compliance with internal requirements including: network security, confidentiality, brand identity, etc . . .
• Define scope of IT projects and establish reasonable budget and timelines
• Develop detailed project plans and manage implementation processes including managing internal resources, 3rd party vendors.
• Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of IT projects. Facilitates amicable solutions with the appropriate customer(s)
• Track project progress, monitor changes, create and implement testing plans, documentation, and training
• Develops Requests for Proposals (RFP), evaluates responses, and leads IT system selection teams
• Identifies the technical approach to be used on a given IT project and manages the system development process including the development of a strategic plan, systems analysis, technical design, coding, testing and acceptance of an IT system and/or application
• Perform requirements gathering, needs assessment and feasibility studies for each project
• Manage software development cycle including: design, testing and implementation
• Projects will vary in size, number and complexity
• Integrate with other internal systems to ensure a seamless user experience across all commute programs. Some system integrations that may be required include: HR databases, physical security, AppleWeb, and others
• Assist in other divisional projects as time and resources allow
