Forecasting Excellence
Provide thought leadership to commercial leadership, providing expert opinions on the impact of market and competitor events as risks and opportunities to their forecasts
Develop forecast models for the valuation of internal pipeline assets, external opportunities and lifecycle programs for the global and regional organizations
Design and develop tools to enable business analytics and commercial colleagues in conducting forecasting analytics
Advise senior commercial leaders and business analytics leads on best forecasting practices and implement best practices to meet business objectives
Manage forecasting vendor partners on leading technical development of forecasting assets
Performance Measures
Ability to effectively partner with various stakeholders on developing comprehensive forecast models that are adaptable and comprehensive in their ability to answer business questions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced (MA, MS, PhD, etc.) degree in a quantitative discipline (computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, operations research, engineering, or finance)
5+ years’ experience developing and managing forecasting projects/assessments within the pharmaceutical sector
6-10+ years of strong multi-disciplinary analytics experience, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry or management consulting
6-10+ years of experience in people management, talent development and senior stakeholder interaction
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Background in consulting and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing strongly preferred
Strong communication skills
Strong team player, ability to maintain strong cross-functional and cross-team ties to influence colleagues outside direct reporting structure.
Technical skills and competencies:
Strong strategic, conceptual and analytical thinker with the ability to lead and build relationships with partners to quickly understand business strategies, identify analytics needs and designs effective solutions.
Proven ability to recognize interactions between insights, identify trends, proactively recognize future business needs and link them to current and future analytics.
Strong quantitative modeling skills (Excel/Excel VBA, SAS and/or R)
