As a Leader, you are respected for your deep technical expertise and/or ability to oversee programs and processes. You balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment, along with a risk mindset. Ultimately, you take ownership for key outcomes.
Primary responsibilities include providing superior customer service, directing investigations, managing litigation, analyzing coverage, preparing coverage position letters, formulating /documenting claim handling and resolution strategies, managing counsel and experts to control expenses, and working closely with counsel and experts to evaluate losses and reach cost effective claim resolutions.
Position requires periodic travel to attend client service meetings, mediations and trials.
What we are looking for
A proven track record, 5-10 years experience in the handling of General Liability claims
Proficient computer skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively and professionally interact with brokers, insureds, counsel and other industry professionals
Multi-state adjuster licenses required
JD preferred
