It's required years of engineering to solve the simple but fundamental problem of determining how people use space. Now that our product is making its way into the hands of customers, we believe it's critical to bring the same level of thought and care to Density's financial operations.
This role is not a clean up job. We're well organized, compliant, and clear but we lack the requisite experience to think creatively with finance: debt facilities, team construction, regionalization, and perhaps most importantly: we don't know what questions we don't know to ask.
Responsibilities:
Work with leadership team to help define company strategy.
Implement, manage, and report on all financial aspects of company strategy.
Shape company's financial/accounting policies, controls, standards, and procedures.
Plan, coordinate, and execute company's budgeting processes.
Manage financial relationships with company's investors, bankers, and board.
Define, build out, and manage company's finance/accounting org.
Work with company leadership to level up management's financial IQ.
Requirements:
Expertise with financial/accounting challenges of enterprise SaaS.
Expertise with financial/accounting challenges of hardware manufacturing.
Expertise with financial/accounting challenges of global operations.
Experience with structuring, negotiating, closing, and managing debt facilities (specifically for manufacturing companies).
Experience with structuring, negotiating, and closing equity financing (specifically for high growth technology companies).
