We’re on the hunt for an experienced Director, Financial Planning & Analysis who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Someone who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed. You will serve as the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.

What You’ll Be Doing

At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission. The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission. The mission 80’s for this role, are:



Operate with efficient processes/controls to deliver the financial results of the fiscal 1+3 year plan.
Ensure appropriate resources & investment funding for business unit 80 initiatives.
Create a culture of learning & improvement.


Additional responsibilities of the role include:

Continuously improve monthly financial package/dashboards for timely communication of business unit results & KPI performance.
Operationalize Customer Product Roadmap (CPRM) data collection, aggregation, & reporting.
Understand & communicate Top 15 customer performance in enterprise sales & overall performance in capacity sales teams.
Perform Finance drills to ensure Solera Way principles are operationalized.
3:1 Sales Pipeline (weekly) to ensure monthly revenue is properly supported by a qualified sales pipeline, & drive remediation as required.
4:1-8:1 value proposition (periodic).
As Product Development is creating product or feature/functionality enhancements.
Calculation is included with each customer contract submitted for approval.
4-6% Revenue per Transaction growth (periodic) calculation is included with each customer contract renewal submitted for approval.
:1.5 (annual) to ensure every $1 of revenue growth comes with an EBITDA that is $1.50.
Provide early warning to SMT of 80/20 concerns, upside opportunities/downside risks, general state of business assessment, & partner with business units to assist in operationalization of 80s/20s to achieve their mission
Prepare business case & cash flow schedules (IAP) to analyze P/L impact & achievement of financial hurdles for each business unit initiative.
Run drills to model post implementation audits for new initiatives, existing products/services for achievement of accretive objectives, & discontinuation of products/services that no longer add value.
Identify & execute 30/30 initiatives by business unit to increase efficiency & eliminate waste.
Foster a service oriented culture to meet/exceed internal customer expectations & business unit output for fiscal 1+3 year plan.
Select, qualify, & re-qualify Finance team to achieve mission.
Create business analyses, insights, & metrics that drive the business units to effectively prioritize 80s & manage investments.
Build an adaptive & qualified team to communicate financial results of business unit performance/drivers, progress on missions, & analysis/decision support to make well informed decisions.
Qualifications
Are You Qualified?

Minimum of 10 years of experience having held the position in a high growth business involving the use of advanced financial analysis & management reporting in a line business unit.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is required; work towards or completion of an MBA is highly desired.
Strong FP&A experience & the ability to gain transparency into the business.
Strong financial planning, analytical, communication, project management & interpersonal skills with the proven ability to relate to all levels of management.
Successful track record in building high-performing individuals & teams.
Advanced Excel skills required & advanced PowerPoint skills highly desired.
Demonstrated ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes & simultaneously manage several projects.
