This role will manage outside sales personnel for the MikroPul business, develop Channel Partners, onboard/train/develop sales personnel, achieve sales performance targets, develop and track RAC Plans/Workplans and other performance criteria and utilize and streamline corporate policies, processes and/or procedures.
Responsible for increasing sales in MikroPul Aftermarket using both direct sales and manufacturers rep channels through the achievement of both personal and team targets.
Assures the development of new sales engineers through coaching, processes and procedures.
Travels to customers and reps throughout North America. Makes sales presentations in PowerPoint.
Interfaces with Engineering and Operations departments to convey new order requirements as orders are received.
Assists with marketing personnel in preparation of sales literature.
Attends trade shows and staffs the exhibit booth to present aftermarket products.
Assures team preparation of written proposals and quotations, including product benefits to customer, which meet internal margin and other guidelines.
Interfaces with Engineering, purchasing, credit, accounting, personnel and general management as required.
Responsible for developing a channel strategy and subsequent channel partner development to deliver leads and opportunities to meet growth targets.
Assures the deployment of various policies and procedures as required by executive management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Previous Channel management and development, including programs
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated sales management
Proficiency with Microsoft CRM, Excel, Word, and Outlook Software
Travel requirement of 50%
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a non-structured, entrepreneurial environment
Team-oriented with strong knowledge of sales processes to be able to coach individuals in their development as sales professionals
