We are currently seeking an experienced Director who will join us in DUMBO, Brooklyn, NY, and help lead our effort to build out and productize our various digital experience

• Supporting the head of product in defining the governance structure for product management within the Zipari organization
• Conducting interviews and inform hiring strategy for product to ensure we identify the best talent and are able to sustain continued rapid growth
• Leading the development of product management training materials and product specific documents to onboard and facilitate best practices for all product management staff
• Serving as the internal and external evangelist for product management and product offerings, which includes working with the sales team and key customers.
• Facilitate an thriving product management culture through external events/meetups, team collaboration and outings
• Introduce and advocate process improvements to ensure product, client delivery and engineering teams are optimizing delivery and output
• Lead feature management of ideas and customer feedback sessions to ensure we have appropriately prioritized, timely decisions are made, and feedback is incorporated to the roadmaps and product development
• Supporting the development of and adherence to agile product development methodologies
• Provide oversight of market research and analysis to support sales and product marketing
• Bringing ideas for new features to market working closely with product managers and product analyst
REQUIREMENTS
7-10 years product management experience demonstrating increasing levels of leadership
Experience presenting and evangelizing product management
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Expert knowledge of web standards, design and usability
Agile or other incremental development approaches and cross-functional work environments
Experience managing and mentoring staff (5+)
Digital health experience a plus e.g. wellness apps (health insurance not required)
