FireEye is looking for an experienced Director to lead our Enterprise Network Operations to define, shape and manage FireEye’s global and on prem network, telecommunications and network operations center. We are looking for a leader who can partner broadly with our global business partners and build solid relationships based on results and aligning with business objectives. The FireEye IT team is passionate about providing rock solid infrastructure and results as part of our role contributing to FireEye’s mission. Being able to demonstrate a high bar on collaboration and contribution to end user productivity is also required.
Responsibilities
Set the global vision and strategy for FireEye’s global network and telecommunication operations
Demonstrates strong business acumen; highly capable of understanding business issues and strategies as well as advising on value added technology solutions at the highest executive levels. Must have mastery understanding of Networking (Cisco) along with foundational understanding of Virtual Infrastructure (VMWare), Microsoft (AD, Citrix, Network security and Wireless) solutions
Critical skill required for vendor management in a global environment with large strategic partners
Capable of driving a global telecoms strategy leveraging traditional VOIP and emerging technologies such as O365 tools including Skype for Business
Manage a team of internal professionals and external service providers that are responsible for consistent operational support and availability
Manage large-scale process improvement programs, including monitoring, dashboarding and communications/change management
Build a world-class organization that focuses on reliability and scalability
Oversee the preparation and effective management of the annual operating budget.
Continually review operational performance to determine opportunities for improvement.
Recruit, train and develop a superior staff leading with high standards to drive the attraction and retention of superior talent
Train staff in the use of industry best practices, established IT and DevOps methodologies and documented procedures.
Oversee regular operational reviews, including performance reporting and continuous improvement progress.
Monitor the full-service lifecycle of WAN, LAN, wireless, Internet, mobile and voice services across the enterprise.
Directs the Network Operations Center (NOC) strategic planning and futures
Delegate the oversight of technologies, processes and practices in support of security policies.
Adhere to all current changes and problem management policies and procedures.
Manage capacity and usage report documentation of networking technology and health of data and voice communications systems.
Drive positive outcomes for business, help protect FireEye and our business interests
Ensure continuous availability of the FireEye networks
Drive the adoption of automation to improve flexibility and elasticity across multiple technologies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
You have at least 10 years of experience leading network and NOC teams
You are currently, or have been in the recent past, responsible for global networking and NOC operations in a multi-country organization
You have a proven ability to lead and build strong scalable global teams
Clear ability to innovate, build relationships and drive to business outcomes
Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed teams
Experience overseeing network architecture supported in the cloud via AWS, Azure, Google or similar
Demonstrated experience partnering with executive-level stakeholders to drive change across multiple business functions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven experience articulating security and risk-related concepts to all audiences, including C-level executives and board members
Outstanding interpersonal skills; proven ability to work effectively with technical contributors, management and executive leadership
Additional Qualifications
Ability to travel as needed to support internal and external stakeholder interests
Experience with enterprise cyber security technologies desired
