The Director, Data & Analytics will report to the Vice President, Data & Analytics Product Leader and will be a hands-on leader who will be responsible for the implementation of GE Digital data & analytics. The ideal candidate should be process oriented, and have a collaborative working-style to help accelerate the implementation of the digital platforms supporting one of the world’s largest, digital software businesses.
Lead the strategy and implementation of data & analytic products & tools for GE Digital.
Own the preparation, curation & ongoing maintenance of data sets to support predictive analytics & business reporting
Develop architectural solutions for strategic GE Digital business initiatives
Design solutions for master data challenges and guide teams on application architecture, database and app design
Lead & manage data augmentation, clean up and data quality issue resolution
Responsible for providing line of sight to data quality and gaps where issues need to be addressed
Lead & manage a global team of technical resources aligned to the digital analytic projects
Partner with the Finance, Operations, Product & Engineering, & Commercial & Marketing organizations to design & implement data analytic solutions
Partner with both the Data & Analytics team & the GE Digital CIO to determine business priorities, outcomes, & implementation strategy.
Actively work with cross functional teams, management and key stake holders to program manage, review progress and functional delivery on a regular committed basis
Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing digital solutions
Minimum 5 years of direct experience implementing data management processes and capabilities
Minimum 5 years of direct experience simplifying, designing, implementing systems
Eligibility Requirements:
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
