Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) has an immediate opening for a dynamic, experienced Director, Global Talent Acquisition. This role will lead the delivery of talent acquisition services for various lines-of-business across SPE. This position will develop, memorialize and maintain all processes associated with talent acquisition. She/he will also manage a team of TA professionals which includes US based recruiters, a sourcer and TA support staff as well as manage any seasonal contract recruiter(s) and / or temporary staff that is brought on. Additionally, the selected candidate will manage the relationship with our on-site Managed Service Provider (MSP) which handles SPE’s contingent workers.
Responsibilities:
Drive best and next practice discussions to ensure SPE is utilizing the best talent acquisition methodologies yielding optimal results in a high volume / high touch environment
Conduct regular reviews of departmental processes and procedures to ensure a streamlined and efficient recruiter, business partner, hiring manager and candidate experience
Provide overall leadership for a team of TA professionals and act as a strong role model, providing mentorship and motivation for growth while driving a high level of performance against our hiring plans
Collaborate with P&O colleagues to build a data-driven organization evolving recruiting metrics and analytics that provide insights
Direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing individual contributions and supporting professional growth
Effectively monitoring and maintaining our contingent staffing relationships and technologies, making recommendations for improvement or enhancement when needed
Act as a strategic point-of-contact for several key talent acquisition relationships, which includes our LinkedIn relationship, other sourcing tools and our background check vendor
Talent Acquisition liaison with P&O Operations team as it relates to OFCCP compliance
Full-cycle recruiting on selected executive searches on a regular basis
Requirements:
Position requires at least 7-10 years of corporate talent acquisition experience, preferably in a global Fortune 500 organization and/or in the Media / Entertainment industry
At least 3-5 years of managing a team of talent acquisition professionals
At least 3 years of managing complex vendor relationships, ideally within the temporary / contingent staffing space
Solid analytical skills, with a keen eye for metrics, data and reporting
Solid knowledge of applicant tracking systems, Workday knowledge preferred
Global perspective with the ability to successfully adapt to a continuously growing and changing environment
Requires an eye for process, structure and a technical proclivity
Strong organizational skills and the ability to use independent judgment in prioritizing tasks to meet or exceed deadlines in an ambiguous, ever-changing environment
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining effective in both a structured and ambiguous environment
Keen attention to detail, efficient and highly organized; articulate both written and verbally
Inclination towards organization design, development, and workforce planning principles
Demonstrates the ability to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
Knowledge of OFCCP compliance
BS degree or equivalent
