Director Human Resources Zwift Long Beach

As the Director, Human Resources you will support the culture and strategy as Zwift scales. You will work closely with the Vice President, People and the People Team to manifest the organization's mission in the employee experience. What you'll do:

Lead. Direct the activities of a global HR operations team. Create, communicate, execute, and manage the department budget. Develop alignment between company values and HR practices.
Employee onboarding. Work with colleagues on the People Team and hiring managers to continuously refine and execute effective employee orientation programs.
Compensation / benefits. Create and manage the benefits offering staying on top of recent trends and ensuring Zwift balances budget requirements with employees needs to remain competitive with top companies.
Retention and rewards. Ensure optimal levels of talent retention by developing processes to identify key talent and programs designed to make Zwift an attractive place of employment.
Workforce planning. Lead the continuous creation and execution of effective staff planning, including creating practices that attract and secure high-caliber talent.
HR Information Systems (HRIS). Oversee the administration and maintenance of Zwift HRIS platform to ensure it appropriately supports the business and compliance aspects of the company.
Policies and processes. Develop, implement, and consistently administer employee policies that comply with applicable law and advance objectives in the jurisdictions globally where Swift has offices or operations. Develop and manage the employee handbook, and ensure that company-wide practices align with company values.
Training and development. Implement training programs and tools to assist managers to supervise and motivate their direct reports and help employees grow their skill sets, and continuously improve their performance.
Performance Management. Ensure that appropriate performance management philosophies, programs, and practices are implemented and executed in support of a culture of accountability and high performance.
Compliance. Work with outside counsel to ensure that policies and practices comply with all applicable laws, and when necessary investigate and direct Zwift responses to workplace complaints. Create policies and understand risks for employee separation, including such aspects as consulting counsel, severance payments, protected classes, and Zwift policy on references.

What we are looking for:

5+ years of experience in Human Resources focused roles within high-growth environments
Demonstrated ability to coach, empower, and develop a Human Resources team
Successful leader with experience promoting a strong culture and exceptional employer brand
A team player who will Interface with key leaders across the organization influencing People strategies
Experience changing the status quo in an organization instead of using it as a template to be repeated without change
Ideally, someone that has experience in a larger company so you have a clear view of the goal line when setting new objectives
Experience selecting, implementing and managing modern HR technology including: HRIS and performance management
A compliance expert in all areas of employment law including: worker’s compensation, independent contractors, overtime, meal and rest periods, immigration, unemployment insurance, discrimination (per state and federal), pregnancy, disability (ADA), age, gender, diversity, family and medical leave (state and federal), sexual harassment training, and EEOC reporting.
Undergraduate degree required; MBA or other graduate degree is a bonus
