Your focus will be on Executive Compensation and Equity Programs. You will report to the VP of Rewards and have an executive comp analyst direct report. Responsible for the development of executive compensation plans, long-term incentive plans and materials needed for engagement with Intuit’s Sr. Leadership Team and the Compensation and Organizational Development Committee (CODC) of the Board of Directors. Manage all elements of executive compensation, including cash and equity program structures and strategies, to ensure integration and alignment of executive pay with overall company goals and objectives. Assess, develop and design new and existing executive compensation programs. Provide high touch consulting, training and supporting analytics for Executive staff, including the development of communication materials.
Analyze Intuit’s equity programs (all employees) for effectiveness, cost impact and alignment with shareholder interests, recommend program design changes and conduct share usage forecasting. Collaborate with Finance/Accounting, Stock Admin, Legal and Investor Relations teams in the development of the company’s annual proxy statement and other public filings and investor outreach initiatives as required. Monitor the legal and regulatory environment impacting executive and equity compensation and make recommendations and develop analytics to comply with changing landscape. Provide consultation, training and tools to HR colleagues.
Develop and present materials for the CODC, including competitive data and executive and equity compensation plan design alternatives, expense and implications.
When necessary, partner with internal executives/HR and external advisors in merger and acquisition integration due diligence and implementations.
Qualifications
The Person
Seeking someone who is analytical, data driven and creative who thrives on solving complex problems taking into consideration employee and shareholder perspectives. Ability to scale communication style to all levels, but especially important to be able to effectively engage and communicate with executive staff, CEO/Chairman, CODC and external partners.
Expertise at their craft is a given, but engages with stakeholders in a customer back manner. Leadership and ability to engage, influence, inspire and execute is what will set the right candidate apart.
Looking for an individual who will bring the experience of having worked in a global technology company, with significant experience with managing equity programs, preparing board materials and interacting with executive leadership up to and including CEO.
Additionally, looking for demonstrated success in collaborating across boundaries within and outside of HR. Additional areas of experience:
Deep knowledge of compensation market, trends and tax/accounting/regulatory issues related to executive and equity compensation
Experience in annual and longer-term planning cycles
Ability to integrate key points of view of multiple stakeholders in the executive compensation review cycle (e.g., Board, management, investors)
M&A experience is a plus
Mastery of excel, PowerPoint, relevant tools
10-15 years of experience in the field of Compensation with a focus on Executive compensation.
BA/BS required, MBA a plus, CCP desired.
