Director Business Development Zendrive San Francisco

The Director of Business Development will report to our VP of Business Development and lead partnership development within the auto insurance segment. We’re looking for a leader who wants to make a big impact right away and is passionate about working in a rapidly-growing startup environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the industry and partner ecosystem
Create a strategy and business plan to achieve annual revenue targets
Own and lead the business development process end to end, including identifying prospects, growing pipeline, managing funnel, negotiating terms and closing deals
Work closely with Insurance, Business Development, Product Management, Customer Success and Marketing teams to inform strategy and deliver an integrated experience for partners that fosters long term relationships.
Skills/Requirements:
5+ years business development/sales experience selling technology to auto insurers
Ability to engage and influence C-level executives
Proven success negotiating, structuring and closing complex enterprise deals and meeting/exceeding aggressive targets in a dynamic environment
Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
Business degree required; MBA or similar post-graduate degree preferred
Experience with mobile products / platforms requiring SDK integration preferred
