SurveyMonkey is looking for a leader of our Strategy and GTM Operations team to support rapid sales growth and expansion. We are looking for a leader with broad experience leading a fast growth, scaling sales organizations. Key areas of focus include sales GTM strategy, field readiness, sales compensation management and business Intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in these areas and has shown the ability to manage a team driving year over year increases in sales effectiveness while delivering the growth expectations.
Responsibilities
Build & lead a high performing team, responsible for business operations, reporting, modeling, sales productivity, compensation design and strategic analysis
Quota setting and territory alignment; work with sales leadership to design, implement and monitor territory, account, and opportunity plans.
Collaborating with sales leadership, human resources and other cross functional departments to conceptualize and build sales compensation plans, as well as roll-out of plans.
Build and lead a world-class Field Operations organization, that enables our Sales & Customer Success teams to exceed their goals and scale globally
Productivity and revenue forecasting; develop and implement metrics to monitor productivity and revenue performance.
Deliver core business metrics, reporting and analytics, including pipeline, bookings, lead funnel & churn analysis
Sales management communications, e.g. developing business review presentations, reporting, and analysis required for monthly, quarterly, and annual management meetings
Drive annual planning process across global sales organization, including business modeling, territory planning, compensation design, in close partnership with finance and other cross-functional leadership
Provide overall leadership and day to day management of all Field Operations responsibilities including: strategy & planning, sales systems, sales productivity and post sales operations
Partner with Marketing, Product, Legal and Finance teams to drive cross-functional alignment and business growth
Requirements
BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in sales, strategy, sales operations, or management consulting
Experience leading business transformation initiatives for a high performing, global sales organization
Strong strategic planning skills combined with exceptional execution
Natural leader with inherent personal drive; ability to navigate ambiguity, operate effectively in a hyper-growth, start-up environment, and motivate a team of hire performing individuals
Excellent analytical skills combined with strong business judgment and strong finance & accounting knowledge
Executive presence; exceptional presentation, written, and oral communication skills
