The Cisco Meraki team is seeking a creative Director of Product Management to lead product management activities for our Dashboard, which covers a wide number of architectural initiatives including but not limited to: (a) buildout of the global Meraki cloud, (b) managing our back-end system feature development, (c) global cloud compliance, (d) building the most bleeding-edge user interfaces possible for our web and mobile applications, and (e) enhancing our application programming interface (API) strategy so that we continue to lead the forefront of highly programmable next-generation networking. You will be driving the focus around how Meraki is thinking about further expanding its cloud management capabilities and interfacing with the various discrete product teams for the individual Meraki products (e.g. MR, MS, MX). The role includes driving product strategy for all areas related to our cloud and user interface, and building a team of highly skilled Product Managers to manage various product components.
In this position, you will team up with the world's best engineers - PhD types from MIT, Berkeley, and Stanford. You will develop excellent technical knowledge, communication/presentation skills, and a passion for learning about and evangelizing cloud-driven networking technology.

Responsibilities
Discover and prioritize customer use cases and requirements
Work with our elite engineering team to build the right software capabilities to address those use cases
Define product strategy, roadmap, positioning, and pricing
Assist and train our rapidly growing sales team
Serve as a technical resource and key strategic advisor for all technical and business-related matters related to cloud aspects of our product
Ability to attract and build a diverse team of talented product management individuals
Define and drive discrete components of a cross-product unification strategy across all layers - engineering, sales, marketing and product
Qualifications
BA/BS in EE or CS or a related technical field
Minimum 5-10 years of work experience in technology (ideally in Networking)
Strong business background (ex: MBA, Product Management or Marketing) desired
Passion for learning about networking and cloud technologies
Proven ability to motivate and drive large projects and large teams effectively
Demonstrates success in driving product initiatives where outcomes were paramount to the health or strategic differentiation over the overall business, e.g. incremental revenue streams in the hundreds of millions
Entrepreneurship, "can do" attitude, and ability and willingness to make an impact
