You’ll be paying off CIBC’s bet that a targeted, integrated approach to leadership development will directly accelerate our client-focused strategy. You’ll be leading the definition, development, communication and implementation of strategic new programs and practices to enable CIBC executives, near-executives and other leaders to unleash the full power and creativity of our diverse team. You’ll provide thought leadership, expert consultation, professional advice and oversight on complex and conceptual issues to the working team, business partners and senior leaders across CIBC.
· Systems thinking married with creative problem solving – Map the interconnection of leader mindsets, skills and hard knowledge with the intent and outcomes of CIBC`s talent and business strategies. Solve complex problems and formulate comprehensive recommendations for building capability that drives the bottom line, by applying creative thought. expertise, experience and problem solving strategies.
· Leadership & Expertise - lead and manage program implementation, and influence project teams and stakeholders to act with urgency and focus. Communicate vision, achieve buy-in, set goals, monitor performance and drive results. Apply deep knowledge of leadership development, people management, talent & engagement strategy and learning & development, plus your knowledge of relevant industry players and frameworks.
· Network & Relationship Building - Collaborate and partner with teammates and external partners, plus business leaders and professionals across our bank and your broader network, in order to identify, analyze and action opportunities to enable leaders to deliver more effectively on CIBC`s strategic priorities and goals. Pursue opportunities to learn what others are doing, meet new people, build your network – and integrate new thinking and new thinkers into our leadership development strategy.
