This specific position will be responsible for defining validation plans and the validation execution strategy for Rack Scale Design technology across multiple different groups both inside and outside of Intel for the next generation of DCG platforms. Rack Scale Design represents the next generation of Software Defined Infrastructure, targeted at cloud server deployments that can be dynamically provisioned across compute, network and storage resources. It dramatically improves a customer's flexibility to 'right size' their infrastructure based on the specific performance and capacity requirements across a shared pool of resources. Rack Scale Design is pathfinding and groundbreaking new methodologies that will be invented and deployed across the industry.
Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar degree with 20+ years of a balanced combination of:
Cloud OS/SW/FW/HW Director level Engineering Management
Cloud Platform "Solutions" Validation such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud with strong expertise in validation methodologies, tools and automation frameworks
Full Product level validation experience covering diverse Workloads Analytics, Maria DB, Mongo DB, multiple industry Applications Kafka, Cassandra, OS, middleware stacks OpenStack, OpenShift, VCF, Azure, Storage, Networking and Compute infrastructure
Technical program management experience in delivery of a full datacenter systems solution
Experience leading validation of complex projects consists of a large, matrixed, multi-geo teams- Full Product Life Cycle experience on large scale compute/storage/networking projects
Additional qualifications required include:
Excellent teamwork, collaboration and consensus building skills
Comfortable working with minimum supervision
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience working with Architecture and Engineering teams to define integration and product validation strategy for product features
Extensive knowledge of software integration and validation, preferably with data center applications, Cloud OS's, orchestration and open source middleware stacks
Understanding of Intel server CPU/silicon strategies and roadmap
Experience with networking configuration, cloud workload, and accelerator workload qualification- High-level project/program/platform management experience
Senior level decision making and influencing experience
Experience working across functional and organizational boundaries
Demonstrated leadership with senior technical and management teams
