As the Global Marketplace Analytics Business Planning Director and leader of the Scaled Analytics function, you'll support the VP/Global Marketplace Analytics in managing the strategic business planning process, ensuring that budget investments are correctly aligned against critical priorities, driving an outbound communications plan to keep key stakeholder updated on team activities, and manage resources that drive cross-functional portfolio delivery across the team. In addition, you'll independently lead cross-functional special project teams in support of leadership to help identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and to catalyze action against these priorities through strategic and long-range business planning and performance management.

You must be a self-starter, flexible thinker, and outstanding communicator who is comfortable learning quickly and connecting the dots between complicated market dynamics. You will need those skills as you work across multiple functions and geographies within Nike's matrixed organization. Success will depend on your ability to quickly form both professional and personal relationships with colleagues and drive to rigorous, actionable, user-friendly deliverables.

Overall, we are looking for someone who is passionate about analytics and the value it can create within the organization, somebody with strong business acumen and strategic vision and an ability to translate that vision into day to day execution. The candidate should be self-driven, proactive and must show the capacity to manage several concurrent tracks of work. Superb teamwork skills are essential as is the ability to communicate complicated ideas and conclusions in simple business terms.


Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:

" Bachelor's degree
" MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred
" Minimum of 7 years' total experience (3 years experience post MBA) in corporate development, business development, corporate strategic planning, investment banking, management consulting, finance or related fields
" 2 additional years' experience in lieu of an advanced degree
" Previous management consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm is highly preferred
" Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide project management support
" Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models
" Problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
" Technical corporate finance and valuation skills
" Excellent written and oral communication skills
" Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
" Experience developing and implementing KPI tracking across a matrixed organization is preferred
" Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
" Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to communicate complex concepts to senior and business audiences.
" Strong project management experience managing multiple project streams and delivering results across cross-functional teams. Propensity for thinking through projects in a process-oriented manner.
" Ability to develop strong partnerships across a multi-layered organization required.
" Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors, and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred.
" Familiarity with Nike product types and how they are marketed and distributed across channels is preferred.
