Job Description
The Director of Business Management for Special Programs will provide management direction and leadership to the Business Management IPT to establish and maintain sound business arrangements while maintaining an effective and professional Business Management organization. The position will be responsible to execute Business Management functions and processes in support of Special Programs execution and future growth objectives. Further, this position will ensure coordination between the Program and the Business Management Functional Home Rooms for the deployment of Contracts, Pricing, Cost & Schedule Management personnel, processes and tools to the Program.
Responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:
Support the Program Manager and the Program Leadership team to develop and implement growth strategies, including strategic teaming, affordability, contractual, financial, and EVMS elements while ensuring strategies balance competitive positioning with opportunity for profitable contract execution
Provide advice and counsel the Program Manager, IPT leads, and assigned Functional leads on all business related matters including applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to EVMS, SOX, and TINA
Develop, manage and execute all business arrangements for Special Programs, including contracts, memoranda of understanding / agreement, Teaming Agreements, etc. and the proposals / offers leading to such business arrangements.
Manage large portfolio of resources (NCTA, capital, indirect, and unallowable budgets) to ensure Special Programs performance requirements and objectives are met.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through continued interface.
Direct production of reports to Division, Sector and Corporate Management as necessary, and maintain accountability of financial status of Special Programs as required to achieve the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP).
Lead Business Management attainment of Strategic and Annual Operation Plan Goals and Sector Operating Objectives (SOO)
Provide Business Management services to include cost management and reporting, rate management, financial analysis, support/analysis for strategic procurements, regulatory & government compliance support, contractual scope interpretation, proposal support, capital planning, accounting & billing support, and strategic planning
Interprets, executes, and recommends program specific modifications to company-wide policies and practices
