Job Summary
This position is to align, deploy, and enable the Lean Six Sigma Vision, Strategy, and Tactical Implementation across to all divisions in Jabil. This includes deploying and disseminates best practices, conducting Lean Maturity Assessments across all plants and divisions. The individual will train, support, and mentor all Lean Six Sigma Training and deployment requirements along with leading and supporting enterprise projects as requested.
This is inclusive from chartering a team, identifying entitlements, running the projects/events, devising solutions, successfully implementing effective change and realizing identified benefits. Individual will drive teams and instruct and teach team members in use of Lean Six Sigma principle, systems and tools to achieve the goals. Individual may also be required to assume role of project manager for specific projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Drive the effective Lean Six Sigma transformation using the Jabil Lean Six Sigma principles, systems, and tools through the strategic deployment process.
Trains, supports and mentors Lean Champion, Bronze, and Silver training and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training as needed
Instruct and teach teams in Lean Six Sigma principles, systems and tools.
Lead and teach effective use of Kaizen Events & Projects to drive a Lean transformation
Drives Lean Six Sigma Standardization through assessing, coaching and mentoring.
Provide support for enterprise projects or Kaizen Events as needed.
Foster respect for people and humility as they mentor and coach others on their lean journey
Benchmark Jabil Sites and other companies to enhance Jabil capabilities and increase knowledge and skill sets.
Standardize, communicate, replicate and propose best practices across all plants and divisions
Ensure that Jabil’s education & training curriculum & content is meeting the needs of the sites and work with the divisions to develop and improve training material.
Provide Site’s Lean Maturity Assessments to evaluate their Lean Deployment strategy and effectiveness.
Teach and Coach site leadership to effectively lead a Lean transformation within their plant.
Support site & divisional management’s annual operating plan by identifying key improvement priorities to enhance site and Jabil performance in the eyes of all stakeholders
Assist in the development & deployment of standardized policies & procedures across all sites.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Five years + of significant project management experience
Six Sigma Black Belt
Five years experience as Black Belt in successfully leading Six Sigma and Lean projects
Strong implementation skills
Good communication skills
