As a Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will be responsible for building strategy and execution for key partnerships in the state of Texas on behalf of Capital One’s Financial Services Division.

- Develop and maintain relationships with various non-profit, government, and external business organizations
- Advance Capital One's interests through advocacy and strategy at national, state, or local levels
- Continuously review current partnership and market landscape in order to recommend, develop, and implement new and creative initiatives in support of short, medium and long-term strategic goals
- Report to the Managing Vice President, Chief of Staff for Capital One’s Financial Services division and will have significant interaction with the CEO, as well as other Senior Management leaders
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Have demonstrated strategic planning and public affairs experience, preferably across regional, state, and national levels
- Thrive and contribute in a multi-faceted role (subject matter expert, problem-solver, and strategic influencer)
- Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Welcome the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment with minimal supervision
- Need to be able to manage multiple, large, complex, and highly visible projects/partnerships
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or other advanced degree
- 10+ years experience in Public Affairs or Government Relations
