Director Sales Effectiveness RBC Mississauga

As the Director of Sales Effectiveness, you will drive profitable growth against established sales targets. You will lead a team of professionals driving sales plans and activities across multi-channels, multi-products and nationally across Canada for RBC Insurance. You will partner with Channel leaders and Executives to set sales goals and deliver solutions to create a winning sales team. Your team will establish consistent and disciplined sales coaching routines for advisors and leaders by linking all activities to sales results. You will be the voice of all sales channels into head office by providing direction and feedback to sales leaders. You will ensure initiatives, tools and sales campaigns are promoted and leveraged to achieve our sales plans.
What will you do?

Help increase sales advisor productivity through more effective coaching, routines and learning
Responsible for a team of highly skilled insurance sales professionals whose objective is to serve as a center of excellence for developing sales concepts, tools, coaching and routines to increase sales force capability
Ensure that sales training, coaching and messaging, incorporates the Proactive Sales Culture
Impact the way we deliver products to the market and ensure an excellent client experience through training, development and leadership coaching
Establish consistent and disciplined sales coaching routines building coaching expertise with our sales leaders and developing sales leadership capability by linking activities to sales results
Maintain a professional, effective, adaptable workforce with complete understanding of business channel/regional dynamics
Ensure integration and alignment of National Office direction with Channel imperatives to facilitate the delivery of a differentiated client experience
Accountable to the executive team, you will help grow our business and establish key partnerships in the industry while supporting Senior Leaders as they execute change, supporting employees through proactive communication, issue resolution and effective decision-making

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

University Degree and MBA (preferred)
Proven sales leadership and sales effectiveness from the insurance industry
Superior stakeholdering, relationship building skills and proven leadership capabilities at a senior and executive level
Proven ability to build effective teams and strong knowledge of sales force effectiveness
Demonstrate the ability to influence and form strong partnerships with cross-functional partners and transfer these understandings

Nice-to-have

Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
