As a Director in Trust and Safety, you lead a team responsible for protecting Google and its users by fighting abuse and fraud for at least one Google product. You ensure trust and reputation not only for this product, but also for Google as a broader brand and company. You are a strategic leader who possesses the ability to work globally and cross-functionally with several internal stakeholders through effective relationship building, influence and communication. You demonstrate analytical thinking through data-driven decisions. You have the technical know-how, charisma and ability to work with your team to make a big impact.
Play a key role in the development and management of Trust and Safety’s vendor operations by defining success and set the vendor management vision and strategy for policy enforcement globally, across all Google products.
Manage Trust and Safety’s vendor operations globally, ensuring we set the bar for high scale, quality, efficiency of our vendor functions globally.
Develop scalable solutions and ensure operational execution by partnering with Trust and Safety enforcement leadership as well as vendors directly. Work closely with various internal groups to understand business requirements, implement new processes, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Manage overall relationship with the onsite vendor workforce. Monitor cost, quality, and delivery of service. Lead regular business reviews, vendor relationship management activities, workforce planning, and budgeting activities in coordination with internal teams, driving improvements in all relevant metrics.
Work as part of a broader Trust and Safety management team to increase user safety across products with regards to strategy, process improvement, people development and technology implementation.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with international teams and a variety of stakeholders, executing strategies to deliver solutions.
Experience in Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal or Policy executing against operational, product quality or user-satisfaction goals in cross-functional settings.
Experience in operations, contracts management, procurement and vendor management.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or PhD degree.
Experience working with process management systems such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, or TPS.
Experience with outsourcing agreements and managing end-to-end operations.
Experience with business process improvement and project management.
Business development experience for third-party vendors.
