Director Community Partner Marketing Evernote Redwood City

As the Director of Community and Partner Marketing, you’ll be the strategic driver responsible for all partner relationships, operational programs and marketing campaigns that help deliver against brand, growth and revenue goals. This role crafts and leads programs that increase Evernote’s global visibility, create cost-effective sources of lead volume and community engagement, and build long-lasting relationships with strategic partners and community members. You would report to the VP of Global Customer Marketing with responsibilities to:

Establish partner marketing and the Evernote community as a cost-effective channel to drive brand, leads and revenue:
Work collaboratively with the Sr. Director of Partnerships (within Sales team) to identify and engage with key strategic and integration partners (e.g. Slack, Microsoft, Salesforce), to grow relationships and build cooperative, co-marketing opportunities
Work with the Director of Demand Gen to help turn partnerships into a new source of valuable, inbound New To Franchise (NTF) leads
Work with the global sales team to find opportunities for mid-market and enterprise outbound lead sourcing through partnerships
Develop and oversee execution of marketing programs in order to maximize impact of new and existing relationships, including but not limited to advertising creative and placement, channel marketing, social media execution, email marketing, events, etc.
Work closely with Product Marketing leaders to test new opportunities to use partner integrations and community resources as incentives, engagement-drivers or revenue-drivers to the 200M Evernote installed base
Oversee development and management of external Community programs, including advocacy and certification programs
Maintain high standards for the Evernote Community, it's programs, membership, value and overall health
Develop strategies to integrate Community into partner marketing programs
Collaborate within marketing teams to build integrated campaigns, events and other programs for partner co-promotion and ways to activate and engage community members
Develop a wide range of partner, ECC (Evernote Certified Consultant) and Evernote Community program enablement materials, with both local and global application that can be used by Evernote teams, community leaders and partner resellers and channel managers
Drive awareness of Evernote's Community program through in-person events, webinars, digital campaigns, partner co-marketing initiatives and other marketing-related activities
Lead the Community team to gather feedback and insights from Community members to inform partnership opportunities and marketing strategies
Create operational excellence within systems, teams and insights:
Monitor news, current events, market and relevant industry trends to recognize, actively pursue and generate new brand alignment leads, including sponsorships and partner relationships
Establish critical metrics that support company-wide brand, growth and revenue goals and ensure ongoing tracking capabilities, analysis and attribution against those targets
Build and maintain internal and external professional relationships, with a natural ability to influence across teams and collaborate effectively
Craft and manage partner campaign calendars, timelines and execution plans, primarily for North America, Japan and EMEA, effectively coordinating activities with demand generation programs and local in-country teams
Work with sales channel marketing, sales operations, marketing operations and data teams to ensure end-to-end campaign effectiveness tracking and reporting
Skills & Experience:
Creative and analytical, you inspire others to work collaboratively towards shared objectives, across functions and geographies, as well as externally with partners and vendors
Exceptional people manager, excited to use your abilities for mentoring younger, less experienced employees and hiring high-performing teams
You are curious and listen well, absorbing different views and capturing diverse requirements before actively setting a course and charging forward
Hands-on leader with the ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic and global environment
Demonstrated experience leading partner marketing function to execute integrated marketing campaigns for strategic and/or integrated partners. Small business targets a plus.
Event planning and management experience including trainings, meetup groups, trade shows, roadshows, executive programs and large-scale conferences
Strong project management skills, accustomed to working to a budget and within strict timelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solver with a global mindset
BA required
Minimum of 7-10 years in partner marketing, community marketing or B2B marketing (SaaS)
Ability to travel globally
