Manage and drive Optics Biz Dev in UK & Ireland within CBT Key Accounts perimeter, as well as some selective GEPS and TXLE customers.
Allow IPR&T BG to grow the business related to Optics products and services
This person will report to UKI Optics Biz Dev Senior Director:
Drive Biz Dev activities to increase business for Optics Solutions within the UKI Key Accounts (Virgin Media, Sky, KCOM, etc) as well as some selective GEPS and TXLE customers
Create stable relationships and "networking" inside the different customer organizations in these accounts to influence customer strategic decisions as well as network deployments
Define the commercial strategy in terms of pricing for the Optics BLs, with the aim of maximizing orders and margins
Help to develop Data Center Interconnect Market in UKI
Collect customer requirements and share them with Regional PLM
Provide/collect competitive information
Continuously seek fro new applications that can be addressed with Optics produts
Coordinates activities with IP Biz Dev teams related to possible IP/Optics integrated solutions
Push/position pro-actively Optics products and solutions
Influence customer architectures/network evolution
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum experience of 10 years in a similar company in UK.
Minumum experience of 5 years in a similar position
Master in Telecommunications or similar
Ability to identify and create business opportunities
Capability to drive business development activities as well as coordinate tendering team in offer preparation
Capability to create "networking" inside customer organization
Pro-active approach in promoting innovation and new ideas to the customer
Capability to communicate with high level managers (CxO) within customer organization
Detailed understanding of Optics related technologies as well as integrated IP/Optics architectures
Proven experience in designing complex, operationally critical data network architectures
Proven record of customer focus
Analytical problem solver
Proven presentation skills
Understanding of real customer networks
Experience of influencing large projetcs
Deep know how in pricing strategies
Very familiar with UKI business and customers
