The Director of Technology Solutions Management will be based in San Jose, CA. This role will lead the solutions management process and work with senior executives to help develop newly created services and products targeting the Industrial and Emerging Industries segment’s clients. In conjunction with CTO, Design & Innovation, Business Development and Marketing Communications teams, this individual will focus on developing the overall execution plan as well as implementing the marketing strategy.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Determine customers' needs and requirements by specifying the research needed to obtain market information and by communicating with customers in conjunction with business development team
Recommend the nature and scope of present and future solutions / product lines by reviewing market requirements, appraising new solution or product ideas
Conduct high-quality business, market, and competitor analysis including assessing the solution portfolio compared to competitors' products
Determine solutions and product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing costs; anticipating volume
Develop business plans for new solutions and build financial models (i.e., Microsoft Excel), preparing return-on-investment analyses
Bring new solutions and products to market by analyzing proposed solution requirements and supporting solution/ product development programs; establishing time schedules with engineering and operations
Introduce and market new solutions by developing solutions marketing strategies and go-to-market plans with Business Development and Marketing Communications teams
Provide source data for Marketing Communications by defining marketing communication objectives
Drive market share by continuously managing implemented solutions and working with business development leads to implement sales strategies
Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term sales forecasts and special reports and analyses
Contribute to the management and development of the Solution Management Team
Here is some of what you’ll need:
MBA with 5+ years of work experience in Solutions or Product Management and/or deep domain expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Engineering, Product Development, Project Management, Understanding the Customer, Solutions Strategy, Requirements Analysis, Pricing, Planning, Competitive Analysis, Go-to-Market Planning, Financial Planning and Strategy, Solutions Marketing
In lieu of an MBA, Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years relevant experience in hardware / software / networks, industrials, manufacturing
Exceptional academic performance with a focus on business, engineering, economics, or other quantitatively oriented major.
Advanced quantitative aptitude and problem solving capabilities; ability to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, relationship-management, and leadership capabilities.
Ability to work across multiple industries/markets
High impact communicator incl. ability to develop and deliver impactful presentations (i.e., Microsoft PowerPoint)
Ability to influence at different levels across functions
Ability to work with senior executives
