As a key leader on the Marketing team at Udacity, the Director of User Acquisition will be responsible for developing the strategy of acquiring new students for Udacity’s Nanodegree programs. You’ll need to successfully manage campaigns across multiple partners, and test new online and mobile channels to find innovative ways to reach potential students. You will design & execute the user acquisition strategy for all of Udacity’s content.
Responsibilities:

Lead Udacity’s user acquisition effort to drive the highest ROI growth for our Nanodegree programs
Develop our comprehensive strategy and drive execution, including creative conceptualization, execution and optimization, as well as budget allocation
Direct user acquisition process & methodology improvement in conjunction with product and marketing teams to ensure ROI maximization
Source and test new user acquisition channels / partners, and optimization opportunities to drive campaign performance
Constantly seek opportunities to improve our user acquisition process and methodology
Strive for analytical excellence maximizing return and increasing efficiency
Collaborate cross functionally to improve processes and ensure proper technical integration
Communicate program highlights and data analytics to key management internally & externally
Required Skills:

At least 7+ years of user acquisition and digital consumer marketing experience with a focus on developing/optimizing online or mobile marketing programs with a rich portfolio of previous successful marketing campaigns
Successful experience managing, growing and leading a high-performance user acquisition team
Experience with Facebook campaigns, SEO, Google AdWords (SEM), display marketing, ad networks, and testing methods; metrics driven marketer
Ability to think creatively with no boundaries on what could be imagined
Willing to experiment fast and change paths as needed
Excellent analytical skills and an inquisitive nature
Excellent communication, project management as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
Able to work independently in extremely fast paced, team environment; entrepreneurial mindset
Consumer marketing mindset is a huge plus
